Grameen Micro Credit

For over 10 years Grameen Micro Credit has been in the forefront in providing small scale collateral free loans to the poorest of the poor for self employment projects. Grameen Micro Credit Co, Ltd has made a significant contribution to the development of the standard of living of the poorest of the poor in the Sri Lanka by providing Micro finance facilities without guarantors or collateral to them. The Central Bank of Sri Lanka registered Grameen Micro Credit Co. Ltd. as a Registered Finance Company under the Finance Company Act No. 78 of 1988.Grameen Micro Credit Company has a wide branch network covering every nook and corner of Sri Lanka. It serves its members (borrowers) through 46 branches including in Jaffna, Nelliadi, Mannar, Vavuniya, Pottuwil, Ampara, Batticaloa, Trincomalee in the north and east regions, Badulla, Bandarawela, Nuwera Eliya and Hatton in the Central, Anuradhapura, Medawachchiya and Padaviya in the North Central region, Puttalam to Hambantota in the coastal area and Colombo, Homaga and Kaduwela in the city and suburbs to name a few.

As Phase I of the project, Grameen Micro Credit awarded the tender to Cenmetrix for installation of a biostation finger scanner attendance system at their new head office at Nawala.

Inovatec Network Systems in partnership with Cenmetrix Systems, deployed the latest finger scanning machines for time attendance purposes and for security access control purposes for Sanasa Development Bank’s head office. The fingerprint scanners also come with an inbuilt RFID (Proximity) card reader, where the staff use both the RFID and fingerprint authorization functions.

SEYLAN MERCHANT BANK LIMITED

Seylan Merchant Bank Limited (SMB), is a leading Sri Lankan merchant bank. SMB was incorporated in 1992 and was listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange 1993. SMB is a subsidiary of Seylan Bank Limited, a leading Sri Lankan commercial bank.

Cenmetrix successfully installed a biometric fingerprint access control to a secure location of the Bank, where by protecting confidential documents and files of the Bank.
