WHAT WE DO

Cenmetrix is a total solutions systems integrator specializing in biometric technology, security access control applications and asset tracking / management. Cenmetrix focuses on biometric hardware & software technology for attendance and security access control. Biometric hardware technology includes fingerprint, face recognition, palm recognition and iris recognition. With a deep understanding of biometric technology, our R & D team is able to develop customized hardware and software solutions to our customers. Cenmetrix also focuses on RFID (Radio Frequency ID) technology systems, ideally used for tracking of assets, asset management, vehicle tracking, etc. Other products in our portfolio includes time attendance and payroll software, passport scanners, biometric AFIS live finger scanners, & Card printers.

HISTORY

Cenmetrix started off as being a subsidiary of Cenango LLC USA / Sri Lanka. Cenango LLC was establish in Florida, USA in 2001, and in 2003-04 opened an office in Sri Lanka. Cenmetrix was operating under the name of Cenango (pvt) Ltd until the end of 2005, when Cenmetrix was formed as a division of Cenango. Cenmetrix became Sri Lanka's first total biometrics solutions company, focusing primarily on biometric technology. Cenmetrix started developing biometric fingerprint technology and software for the USA and Australia market since 2003. With the increasing popularity of the biometric technology commercially, the management decided to introduce this technology to Sri Lanka. In January 2005, Cenmetrix did its' first biometric hardware installation in Sri Lanka. Since biometric technology was still a new phenomenon to the world market, penetrating the Sri Lankan market took time. The first few years in business brought in a handful of corporate clients. With this technology catching up in recent times, and the superior quality of service provided by us, Cenmetrix has now over 200 clients in Sri Lanka and have done over 800 hardware and software installations Island wide. With the success of this venture, in 2010 Cenmetrix (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated as separate company.
