Founded in 2005 as Sri Lanka’s first total biometrics solutions provider, Cenmetrix has grown into a multi-technology systems integrator with expertise in fingerprint, face and iris recognition, NFC, UHF RFID, long-range identification, parking systems and smart-home automation. We are the exclusive distributor for leading international brands including Suprema, Alien Technology, Nedap, Skidata and Samsung SDS. Through our subsidiary, Cemex Software, we also offer cloud-based HR management solutions to help clients manage workforce operations alongside asset and infrastructure automation.
With more than 750+ clients and 7,500+ installations across the USA and Asia, Cenmetrix has earned a reputation for quality, reliability and exceptional after-sales support. History
Cenmetrix began as a division of Cenango LLC, a technology company founded in Florida, USA in 2001 and later expanded to Sri Lanka. In 2005, Cenmetrix was established as Sri Lanka’s first dedicated biometric solutions provider and rapidly evolved into a pioneer in fingerprint and identity-based technologies. After years of developing biometric software for the US and Australian markets, the company introduced these solutions locally—eventually serving hundreds of organisations as demand grew. Cenmetrix (Pvt) Ltd was officially incorporated as an independent company in 2010 and has since expanded into RFID, IoT and smart automation, growing to serve over 750 clients globally.
